Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on CWDigital.co.uk. Using this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Placing an order indicates your acceptance and the terms listed are subject to change at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date at the foot of the page). Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods using this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

Accuracy of Product Information and the Description of Goods

Product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of CWDigital.co.uk is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. CWDigital.co.uk cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual. Images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites. All accessories supplied with a product are subject to upgrade or change at the manufacturers discretion. We will supply the product as supplied to us by the manufacturer.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties. Prices may be subject to change if the price published for the goods is wrong. In all cases we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

All savings shown are the difference between the online selling price and the normal selling price of the goods in retail stores excluding delivery charges.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Electron, and Delta as forms of payment. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 14 days. Finance terms are also available upon request. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, the address and phone number your credit card holder has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Due to the limited availability of items purchased in our clearance section we cannot guarantee fulfilment of your order. In the unlikely event we are unable to provide the item we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

Unless otherwise stated, all prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. AM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application.

Delivery Times

Most stock items are delivered within 5-7 working days from clearance of payment. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated. On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If CWDigital.co.uk or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 10 days from delivery. If we supplied you with a product other than ordered it is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery. CWDigital.co.uk will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.

If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account.

Product Guarantees - General

Unless otherwise stated (in some cases this may be extended), all products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturers guarantee for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance (cleaning of dirty audio/video heads etc.), consumables (styli, plug fuses, cables, batteries, etc.), cosmetic damage and tuning of channels are not covered. The full cost of the service call will be charged to your credit card account if our engineers find no mechanical or electrical fault with your product. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Product Guarantees - TFT LCD Monitors and Televisions

TFT displays are made up of thousands of tiny pixels. For example, a 15" flat-screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 has 786423 pixels. Each pixel comprises of three sub-pixels (red, green and blue) making almost 2.4 million dots. Behind each pixel is a transistor. When a transistor fails it manifests itself as a bright, dark or coloured dot on the screen that stands out from the rest.

Today's production techniques unfortunately cannot guarantee an absolutely fault-free screen display and buyers should be aware of the possibility of imperfections (in the form of a few isolated constantly lit or unlit pixels) before choosing to purchase a TFT monitor or television. Due to this, there is indeed a commonly accepted 'tolerance level' by which TFTs may display such imperfections (or stuck pixels) without being classified as faulty. As such, we can only take back displays as faulty for refund/repair if the number of stuck pixels exceeds the manufacturer's guidelines. The number required for the monitor or television to be classed as faulty does vary between manufacturers. Please check with the relevant manufacturer as to their 'tolerance level'

Returns and Refunds Policy

Faulty Goods
All goods are fully supported by our manufacturers warranty processes. If any goods we supply are found to be faulty within 28 days of delivery we will arrange for the product to be replaced by an identical product or be inspected and processed at your site by the manufacturer themselves. If the goods require replacement there will be no cost of this process to you.

Any products returned as faulty will be tested on their return. If found to be in full working order these goods will be subject to a 20% "No Fault Found" surcharge. This will either be levied against any refund, or will be invoiced separately if the unit has been swapped.

Returns

Goods Damaged in Transit
If your goods are damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 48 hours of delivery. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt you should sign the delivery note accordingly. We will then replace the goods under our faulty goods process, or if requested issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. This refund will only be processed once the goods have been received back into our warehouse.

Cancelling your Order
If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you wish to return your goods, then you can do so provided you inform us of this decision within 7 days from receipt of the goods. The goods must not be opened nor used and must be ‘as new’ when returned to us. Once you’ve informed us of your decision to return goods and we have issued you with an authorisation number to return the goods, you have 7 days to do so at your own expense. Once goods are received by CWDIGITAL, we’ll issue a full refund for the full cost of the goods - less the original delivery charges and the cost of any missing accessories or packaging. Refunds can only be processed to your original payment method.

Please note this policy does have some limitations and does not apply to business customers.

Delivery charges will be incurred for all cancellations once they have been despatched from our warehouse, even if the cost of delivery is included within the price of the unit. We can provide delivery costs these upon request.

If goods are received back not in a re-sellable condition, we are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

If a refund is required for a cancelled product this will only be issued via the original payment method and will be processed once the goods are received back into our warehouse and inspected.

We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking charge for all goods returned which are found to be not faulty.

Please note

Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation and a returns authorisation number. The returns authorisation number is only valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of this delivery charged to your account.

Refunds

Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.

  • Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in a re-sellable condition: Agreed refund as per above.

  • Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging but with accessories missing: You will be refunded the full Invoice price - less delivery charges and cost of accessories.

  • Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

  • Security sealed or blister packed goods cannot be returned once opened, unless faulty.

Other

You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
